Photo catalogue Fotolia is acquiring Wilogo, a firm that helps startups find graphic designers to design their logos, in a crowd-sourcing push. Fotalia is an online repository that lets photographers sell royalty-free photos, and currently has nearly 16.5m images in its catalogue. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. France-based Wiligo claims that it has sold more than 2,000 designs, and paid designers USD1.5m since its launch in 2006. Customers pay USD470 to post design specifications on the site.
