Threadflip, an online marketplace for women's clothes has reeled in USD13m in Series B funding. The round was led by Norwest venture partners with participation from previous investors Baseline Ventures, First Round Capital and Shasta Ventures. The new funds will be used to hire additional merchandising and operations staff to help deal with demand. Based in California, Threadflip is a social marketplace for buying and selling women's clothing. With its Concierge Full Service users can get a shipping bag sent to them to fill with unwanted items which is then sorted by a Threadflip stylist who places the items on the marketplace ready for sale.
