The success of Stockholm is spurring on the other Nordic countries to invest in their own tech centres. Norway, in particular, is trying to shift towards technological entrepreneurship as the oil industry that made it rich starts to decline. Encouraging startups is key to any future success and the Norwegian government is backing many early-stage companies. Its capital Oslo is also getting a big boost from the decision of 500 Startups to set up a base there and this week's Oslo Innovation Week highlighted the best of the Norwegian tech scene. This year 100 startups pitched, both from Norway and overseas. With teams pitching everything from biometric bank cards to sharing 3D models, here are five that impressed.
