INTERVIEW: “It's as close to real life as possible” – Badoo’s Head Of Product

Dating app Badoo is something of a sleeping giant in the online dating space. The company’s exosted for 10 years and earlier this year passed 300m users as it continues to pile on features and tools. Here the company’s head of design Miles Morris talks implementing new ideas and safety in the future of dating.


¤ How do you go about adding new features to the app?

We take a considered approach. For every feature we launch we test it in one market first and make sure it’s good, that the listeners use it and its still getting the core value of being able to connect and chat to people from it before deciding to go live and global.
