Clari emerges from stealth with USD6m investment for sales productivity tool

California’s Clari, a mobile-first sales productivity tool that uses real-time big data analytics to power sales insights, is emerging from stealth with a USD6m investment from Sequoia Capital. The deal, taking the figure for total capital raised by Clari to USD9m since inception, also sees Sequoia partner Aaref Hilaly join the Clari board. In addition to the funding boost Clari has reported the acquisition of "dozens" of customers as it emerges from stealth including VMware, Juniper, Cisco, Box and several other Fortune 500 companies.

Clari’s features at the time of launch include: a cloud-based service that mines and crunches data from sales platforms - a customer relationship management (CRM) system with ‘CRM accelerators’ that pushes alerts to workers to manage employee feedback.
